About Tatiana

Tatiana began playing the piano at the age of 4, has been in choirs since elementary school and began studying voice privately at the age of 15. Having developed a love for singing, Tatiana completed her B.A. in Vocal Performance from Whitworth University, under the instruction of Dr. Scott Miller and then completed her M.M. in Vocal Performance from Central Washington University, under the instruction of Dr. Gayla Blaisdell. She now is continuing her academic journey at the University of Washington pursuing a D.M.A in Choral Conducting.Throughout her music career Tatiana has worked as an accompanist, private piano and voice teacher, music director at SecondStory Repertory Theater in Redmond, WA, music director for the Seattle Youth Opera Program, choir director in the Lake Washington School District, and currently serves as the Choir Director and Worship Song Leader at Tibbetts United Methodist Church in West Seattle. Tatiana also recently began working with the Kirkland Performance Center Community Choir. Tatiana actively sings with Wellspring Ensemble and Kirkland Choral Society. She is an active member of ACDA (American Choral Directors Association), NAfME/WMEA (National Association for Music Educators/Washington Music Educators Association), and NATS (National Association of Teachers for Singing).

Private Lessons

Tatiana has worked as a private piano and voice teacher for over ten years. She has worked for Oliveland Piano Studios, Kirkland Academy of Music and Performance, and has had her own studio primarily traveling to students homes. Now, Tatiana is very excited to begin teaching primarily out of her own home studio. Tatiana's goals for her students are:

  • Help each student grow in their understanding and love for music

  • Learn healthy techniques based on a classical approach that can be applied to a variety of genres

  • Develop skills that help you become a well-rounded musician and are necessary in the music field

  • Build self confidence

  • Offer a variety of performance opportunities

$250/month - 45 min lessons
$300/month - 60 min lessons
